#MadeWithSketch

Context

While thought leadership might not be as expected for SaaS companies, Sketch relied on a series of case studies based on direct interviews with creators and studios to showcase the true power of their design tool. Envisioned as a collaborative tool, Sketch’s mission is to make it as seamless as possible for designers to work alongside clients, developers, PMs, and beyond.

To push this idea further, I went into every interview looking not only for answers but also the essence of the story. My goal was to reflect each distinct journey wherever possible, from the format to the storytelling. These interviews resulted in case studies that both Sketch and the interviewees could be proud of.

My role

  • Wrote interview-driven customer features

  • Conducted interviews with creators and studios such as Letterboxd, ChibiStudio, and Lisa Jacobs.

  • Wrote and structured each piece independently, taking into account the strengths and stories shared by each interviewee

Goal

To build brand trust and loyalty while positioning Sketch as a truly collaborative tool capable of empowering designers to bring their best work to life.

Results

These editorial features helped other creators know what’s possible with the tool, functioning as a behind-the-curtain moment to see how designers or brands they admire get their work done. The case studies were referenced within the design app for quick access to inspiration and shared by the interviewees in their own social channels.
